Do I need a provider’s order?
Yes. A valid physician/provider requisition is required before an invoice is issued, payment is accepted, an appointment is confirmed, or specimen collection occurs.
Can I pay on the website?
No. Phlebotomy Nerds reviews the request, provider requisition, location, availability, and charges first. An invoice is then sent directly to the customer.
What is the travel fee?
When applicable, travel fees start at $38 and may increase based on the service location and travel distance. The final travel charge appears as a separate line item on the customer’s invoice and is not paid through a separate website button.
When is my appointment confirmed?
All required payments are due upfront. Your appointment is confirmed after your provider requisition has been reviewed and your invoice has been paid.
Does Phlebotomy Nerds order or diagnose?
No. Phlebotomy Nerds provides provider-directed specimen collection and related approved services. It does not independently order testing, diagnose patients, or provide treatment outside the appropriate scope.
Can facilities arrange recurring service?
Yes. Facility and clinical research services are reviewed separately from private mobile patient services.
